Some ideas were mentioned in a previous article about how we can overcome obstacles to make those life changes which let us enjoy good health. An obstacle that was not mentioned in this other article and which I would like to share in this one, is our subconscious.
Our beliefs, customs, and all automatic behaviors we learned mainly during our childhood reside in the subconscious. As Dr. Bruce Lipton explains in his book "Biology of Belief" and "The Honeymoon Effect", 95% of the time our subconscious is responsible for our behavior.
If you do not manage to follow a diet or make changes in your life you would like to, your subconscious may be boycotting you with ideas that are contrary to what you pursue consciously.
Below I will explain in more detail how the subconscious works and how we can overcome this obstacle.

Nowadays, concern about antibiotic resistance seems to be growing: antibiotics are losing their effectiveness due to new kinds of super-resistant bacteria. This phenomenon exists because doctors prescribe antibiotics too often.
In order to avoid this prescription overuse, instead of antibiotics, natural antibiotics are recommended by alternative medicine as a safe alternative. Is it really possible to have completely side effect free antibiotics that don’t increase the bacterial resistance?
Usually, a person consumes on a daily basis several products that contain antibiotics as medicine, or have antibiotic properties. Are we unaware of being subject to a daily antibiotic therapy?

Both Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease are types of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). Ulcerative colitis is a chronic disease, in which the lining of the colon becomes inflamed and develops tiny open sores, or ulcers, that produce pus and mucous. The combination of inflammation and ulceration can cause abdominal discomfort and frequent emptying of the colon. The symptoms of these two illnesses are quite similar, but the areas affected in the gastrointestinal tract are different.
There are different approaches to treating IBD. In this article I will explain the main techniques to heal these diseases from a nutritional perspective: food intolerances, SCD diet and vegan diet.
